I’ve always been a maker. A builder. A creator.
A decade ago, I began making jewellery. It started out with wires and beads and then, about six years ago, the experiments began.
I was first enamoured with resin when I saw it used as a glaze on photographs in an artist’s studio on Queen Street. The thick, glassy, glossy shine intensified all the colours and highlighted all the beautiful details in the photos. I also fell in love with the intensely colourful and delicate Japanese Chiyogami papers and decided to work with both mediums to create unique and vibrant collages forever suspended in a beautiful piece of jewellery.
