Artist Statement:

I began my art exploration at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, British Columbia. Here I focused on colour theory, anatomy drawing and painting. I thrive on deliberately mixing past and present cultural influences in my subject matter to create something captivating and refreshing. My work is a representation of one’s journey to a new beginning or the future. The subjects in my work offer a glimpse into my view of the “New Generation” as I see it today and as I see it in the future. My color palette and subject matter create human portrayal full of warmth and energy. “The random collaboration of old and new is important to me because this is how I see the new generation. It is the mixture of traditional and unconventional that attracts us and takes us on a fresh new journey.”
