VOLUNTEER
We are looking for Queen West Art Crawl Ambassadors, Load-in staff, Kids Zone & Performance Zone Coordinators, and Info Booth attendants. You will get a free lunch, a lanyard, and the opportunity to work with a beloved Canadian arts charity. Learn new skills, meet new people, help your arts community, receive volunteer hours and a letter of reference for school/work requirements, and most importantly, have some fun! We hope you will join us.

Our main volunteer areas are:
Load in/Load out Crew – Trinity Bellwoods Park
Date: September 21-22
Times: 7 am – 10 am (load-in on 21st) and/or 6 pm-8 pm (load-out on 22nd)
Responsibilities:
-
In one of QWAC’s three load-in zones, help artists set up their booths by transporting their artwork to their booths and assist with information and customer service

Help artists to tear down and pack up after the show along with be on call for other duties as required with clean up of the park

Ensure vehicles do not drive into the park or park in closure zones
Information Booth Attendant – Trinity Bellwoods Park
Date: September 21-22
Times: 10 am – 12 pm or 12 pm – 3 pm

Responsibilities:

Assist exhibitors and the public by distributing event program guides and giving information as required

Highlight the various programs in the festival

Answer general questions and provide directions​​​

Interactive Arts Assistant and General QWAC Ambassador – Trinity Bellwoods Park
Date: September 21-22
Times: 10 am – 12 pm or 12 pm – 3 pm
Responsibilities:
-
Assist patrons in the interactive art area with t-shirt printing, general customer service, and as a QWAC ambassador

Conduct surveys on behalf of QWAC
-
Answer general questions about QWAC, hand out event guides; additional duties as assigned

All volunteers are expected to participate in orientation and training, which will take place on-site the day of the event.
